MAE Aerospace
PROJECTS

MAVEN NGIMS
MAE Aerospace performed structural analysis and guided structural design of NASA MAVEN mission instrument NGIMS (Neutral Gas and Ion Mass Spectrometer) NGIMS is a 70 million USD instrument, developed by AMU Engineering and NASA GSFC scientists. MAVEN Lunched in 2013 and currently orbiting MARS.

CODEX
Our partner, VSC, collaborated with NASA and the Korea Astronomy & Space Science Institute (KASI) scientists and optical engineers to design and build the COronal Diagnostic Experiment (CODEX) instrument. MAE Aerospace led the structural design and performed the structural analysis. CODEX was successfully tested under the supervision of MAE Aerospace and launched in 2024, where it was installed on the International Space Station (ISS).

Hermes
MAE Aerospace analyzed and successfully tested two instruments, Merit and AIA, on Hermes mission. HERMES is an instrument package that will be placed upon the Gateway, an orbital outpost which will support Artemis lunar operations while demonstrating the technologies necessary to conduct a historic human mission to Mars
